Well since Sawyer didn't take a nap at "BIG BOY SCHOOL" today, it was a hectic afternoon. He cried from the time we pulled up at Nan-Nan (Nancy) and Bob-Bob's (Bobby) house to pick Brax-Brax (Braxton)up from "Little Baby School". He said "No" about 1 Million and a half times before we got back home to "Mommy and Daddy's house". I said, if I had a dollar... let me take that back, even a penny for every time he has said "NO" in the past 2 1/2 weeks, I would have all my debt paid off and have some left over!!! And we have A LOT of debt!!!
I knew I wouldn't be able to handle him in the house, so I called mama and said, please come home and walk with me so he will be outside and confined. When I got about 1 minute from the house, he fell asleep... always happens when you get close to home. So I tried to quietly take him out and place him in the stroller... NOPE, didn't work! He started crying, screaming "NO, NO, NO". His body stiff as a board and didn't want me to strap him in. BUT I was determined... and mommy won yet another battle. I am competitive, so I win most of the battles since I am the bigger person, literally, but one day I know he is going to test me big time! (And by the way, Braxton is being a dream baby... sweet as pie!) We even went over to Parker, Dalton, Lisa and Dadda Do (granddaddy Joe), who were playing at the PARK (what Parker calls it), aka, our swing set. And Sawyer was acting like a HORNET. I told them to please don't be offended, he is just being the leader of his hornet nest right now. Thank the lord, Lisa has two boys because she understands!
We then proceeded to walk and he did fine, since he saw lots of COW DOO DOO on the road. For some reason he loves to tell me where each COW DOO DOO is on the path. LOOOOOOK Mommy Cow Doo Doo. Yes, son, I see it.
Then we decided to go inside and eat. Welp, the youngen threw such a fit, that I had to pick him up by one arm becasue I had Braxton on my hip,(which I hate to do because I am so scared I might hurt his shoulder or elbow), and put him in the house. It laid beside the door sobbing for 10 minutes before he finially decided that he was going to get up and see what Braxton was eating.
After he ate his Carrots (which he puts in his eyes since I told him that it is good for his eyes), we went right back outside and drove the golf cart down to Park-Park and Dalt-Dalt's house, so we could keep the hornet in a better mood. Well, to add to the fun factor, daddy and mama were both there to entertain and all the kids had a great time! I told Dalton about how Grandaddy Joe used to put signs on people's back without them knowing. Dalton thought that was so funny, he decided he was goign to get Granddaddy Joe back for doign that to other people. He snuck a "I eat Flies" sign on his butt and "I smell like Doo-Doo" on his back!!! And daddy never knew! I was about to cry laughing at daddy walking around the house with those signs on his back! Finially daddy found them and he started cracking up. Reminded him of his times at Darryl's!
Anyway, on with my story... I get on a tangit sometimes. We got back to the house and I decided I was going to give the boys a bath in our bathroom! I didn't realize that the entire bathroom would get soaking wet from them playing in the water coming out of the faucet! The paint on my new picture above the tub started dripping, there was water on the wall and all over my rug.... but they had fun and that was worth all the mess! We turned up the music and I danced and they laughed and splashed!
Then off to bed they went... whew, what a relief for me! A glass of Red Wine and now it is time for bed!
