One more blog before I go to bed....

Christie is one of Brandy's best friends... and she loves taking pictures just as much as I do! She is a wonderful photogopher! And I have to say, that this moment that she captured was so funny to me that I almost peed in my pants!

The birthday girl had her green balloon, and my son, wanted it... but Reagan didn't won't him to have it! So here they are fighting over it!!

I think the birthday girl won out, and Sawyer has just flat given up! Hands up in the air... girls alway win out!!!

Reagan telling Sawyer that it is her balloon... and that it is her birthday... and leave her birthday balloon alone!!! You can tell by her face that she means it too! And you can also tell that they both have not had naps, and have had LOOOOOTTTTSSS of sugar! Ice cream, cake, M&M's, Cheese puffs, Coke.... and they don't gain weight from eating all that!!!!

Example: Sawyer eating some M&M's!!!!

A sign of things to come.....

How cool is it to see what you know the future holds.... 4 boys, on one farm, going to drive their parents crazy! We have already decided what their role is going to be..

Dalton- the good boy... but he will be the instagator (not sure how to spell this word) ! He will get Parker and Sawyer to do bad stuff, just so he can laugh at them getting in trouble.... YET, he stays out of trouble himself! Yep, he is the GOOD boy! :-)

Sawyer- The climber and builder... yep, we will be searching for him on the farm, and he will be up in a tree somewhere... maybe even building a tree house for THE BOYS up as high as possible!!! Or he might even be swimming in the creek or swamp just so he can get dirty!!!

Parker- the mischeivous one... looks so innocent, yet is going to be into everything! But no one will get mad at him with those pretty pouty lips... nor will they think something so cute could EVER do anything like that!

Braxton- Welp, I have a feeling he is going to be doing whatever all three above do... because he is want to be just like his cool brother's and cousins!

One day... this will be real trucks!!!

SEE... LOOK AT SAWYER WATCHING DALTON
"Let's see what Dalton is doing so we can do it too!!!!"

Already a HAND FULL!

Happy Birthday Reagan!

Time goes by so fast... my only niece has turned 3 this week! I remember sleeping in the hospital lobby just to hear, "REAGAN's here... and she has 10 fingers and toes!" And now, 3 years later... she is grown up into a beautiful little girl! Happy Birthday Reagan!

The simple things in life....

Here I am stressing because I have to pack my clothes and print all my work stuff to go to Atlanta, GA for a meeting and I downloaded some pictures of my nieces birthday... and it reminded me what is important in life. The simple things. As a kid, we are never stressed... well, except when we have to leave the playground or go take a nap... but overall kids normally have fun. And I captured a little of that today. It really reminded me of what is important in life. It is not the houses, clothes, money we get paid to WORK to pay for it all... but it is the smile on a child's face, and the warmth of their hugs and kisses. It is God's way of making us realize why he put us here on earth. I think that is why he made us to have kids, to remind us of the way a Child see's the world. They see love, protectiveness, fun, and play. When we see the sky is blue.... they see it as BRIGHT blue with big puffy clouds that might look like a lion or a sheep! They see it in a whole different light.. and again, that is what is important in life... the simple things, through a child's eyes! Look at Sawyer's eyes at the end of the slide and how much fun that was to him!!!

Look how much fun riding a fake horse is....going round and round!

Look how sweet it is to see a grandfather guide his grandson to ride a train!

Look at the innocents in a young child's eyes!

Wow, if that doesn't open some eyes I don't know what will!!!

Another day at "BIG BOY School"

(The night before big boy school... the first time. Now he won't even put on the backpack.)

Okay, so here we go. Sawyer hates big boy school. I don't know why, but he does. He cries and screams everytime I talk about it, and he has even figured out what street I turn down to go to big boy school and he starts it up , "NO BIG BOY SCHOOL, NO, NOOOOOOOO, NOOOOOO,...." and the crying starts up. He says, "Mommy, daddy house. Be nice." Which stands for, I will be nice if you take me back to mommy and daddy's house. It breaks my heart.

So, last Thursday I talk to his teacher about what I can do to help him out. She says to let him walk in the classroom and walk right out. Well you parents know how hard it is to leave your sweet baby in a classroom which he hates. It is not that easy. And the fact that he goes limp outside the door before we even go into the church doesn't even help. Especially when I am carrying Braxton on the my hip, and I have to jack him up on the other one. BUT, I said I will try anything now!

So today, I tried to bribe him to walk in and NOT CRY. "You get a sucker when mommy picks you up if you don't cry." Well, I learned today that little people don't have a concept of time.... you know afternoon means NOW, and morning means NOW and tomorrow means NOW. So the whole way to school, he is thinking he is getting a sucker when he gets there... so now I have a tandrem of not getting his sucker and NOT wanting to go to big boy school.

I can't win! Any suggestions... I will take graciously!

(maybe one day he will get excited about going to big boy school again, like this!)

I want to be just like Daddy....

Hey everyone,

My name is Sawyer Thomas Lowe and I want to be just like my daddy. He is the coolest. He fixes cars and gets all greasy and stuff... who cares about clothes, like mommy does. Lets get grease all over me! He rides tractors and plays on the farm. I want to play on the tractor too. He gets to go to work everyday too. Yeah, and he calls playing on the skid steer all day and building things work! I just don't get it! Grown ups have all the fun. Oh yeah, and he gets to stay up late and kiss mommy good night. That's not fair! I want to be just like my daddy when I grow up! He is my idol!

Things I love....

This weekend was very emotional for me. My grandfather has been really sick and we found out Thrusday night that he was going to have his leg amputated Friday morning or he was not going to live. So Thursday night, Scott and I ran up to the hospital to see him, not knowing if this was the last time I was going to see my granddaddy. Needless to say, i was an emotional wreck. So I wanted to dedicate this blog to my granddaddy, and title it Things I love.

1. My husband. He is my everything. Sometimes we have our ups and downs, but he is everything I could have ever dreamed of being with. He looks after me, the boys and he is wonderful to my family. He is the friend that would drop anything he is doing just to help you out.

2. Sawyer. When he is yelling "MOOOOOOMMMMY" after he nap and starts cracking up when I say "SSSSAAAAWWWWYYYER" from downstairs. When he doing something cool to him and he says "LOOOKA Therera Mommy". When he runs up to me and grabs hold of my neck and squeezes me until I am choking and plants a huge kiss on my lips!

3. Braxton. When he grins and shows his two bottom teeth. When he has said Mama, which is only a few times, but it makes my heart melt. When you pick him up and he shakes his bottom legs because he is so happy that you have him in your arms. When he snuggles on my chest at night before he goes to sleep!

4. My mama. She is really my best friend. She is seriously the only true friend I can count on now days. She returns my phone calls, let's me vent and talk about whatever I need to, and comes to see me because she loves me... not because she needs something. Thank you mama for being there for me through thick and thin!

5. My daddy. I love him so much. You can sit down with him for 30 seconds and he says something that cracks you up! And he doesn't even mean to do it. He probably has the biggest heart of anyone I know. He would give the shirt off his back if you didn't have one.

6. My brother and his family. I am so happy to have them living so close. Sometimes I wish we saw them more, but it is hard with their busy life and ours too. I am so glad that we have all boys and they will be growing up together, getting in trouble around the farm! It is going to be fun.... for them at least!

7. Scott's family. Man am I lucky to have in laws like mine. Scott's sister and I talk at least 3 or 4 times a week about our kids and things that are going on in our lives. I always ask her for advice! Scott's mother and father are always there for us in any sitution. And Reagan and Jackson are the most precious things!

8. My grandparents. I have been so lucky to have 3 of my grandparents living for 30 years. I still think about my Granddaddy Swade who passed away 15 years ago, and how blessed I was to have him in my life. I am so glad that I moved back to Clayton, because it has given me a chance to become closer to all of my grandparents and now I know how precious time is!

9. GOD. None of this would be possible without God.

10. My life.

To all of those who read this... Please pray for my grandfather.

Splish Splash...

Well since Sawyer didn't take a nap at "BIG BOY SCHOOL" today, it was a hectic afternoon. He cried from the time we pulled up at Nan-Nan (Nancy) and Bob-Bob's (Bobby) house to pick Brax-Brax (Braxton)up from "Little Baby School". He said "No" about 1 Million and a half times before we got back home to "Mommy and Daddy's house". I said, if I had a dollar... let me take that back, even a penny for every time he has said "NO" in the past 2 1/2 weeks, I would have all my debt paid off and have some left over!!! And we have A LOT of debt!!!

I knew I wouldn't be able to handle him in the house, so I called mama and said, please come home and walk with me so he will be outside and confined. When I got about 1 minute from the house, he fell asleep... always happens when you get close to home. So I tried to quietly take him out and place him in the stroller... NOPE, didn't work! He started crying, screaming "NO, NO, NO". His body stiff as a board and didn't want me to strap him in. BUT I was determined... and mommy won yet another battle. I am competitive, so I win most of the battles since I am the bigger person, literally, but one day I know he is going to test me big time! (And by the way, Braxton is being a dream baby... sweet as pie!) We even went over to Parker, Dalton, Lisa and Dadda Do (granddaddy Joe), who were playing at the PARK (what Parker calls it), aka, our swing set. And Sawyer was acting like a HORNET. I told them to please don't be offended, he is just being the leader of his hornet nest right now. Thank the lord, Lisa has two boys because she understands!

We then proceeded to walk and he did fine, since he saw lots of COW DOO DOO on the road. For some reason he loves to tell me where each COW DOO DOO is on the path. LOOOOOOK Mommy Cow Doo Doo. Yes, son, I see it.

Then we decided to go inside and eat. Welp, the youngen threw such a fit, that I had to pick him up by one arm becasue I had Braxton on my hip,(which I hate to do because I am so scared I might hurt his shoulder or elbow), and put him in the house. It laid beside the door sobbing for 10 minutes before he finially decided that he was going to get up and see what Braxton was eating.

After he ate his Carrots (which he puts in his eyes since I told him that it is good for his eyes), we went right back outside and drove the golf cart down to Park-Park and Dalt-Dalt's house, so we could keep the hornet in a better mood. Well, to add to the fun factor, daddy and mama were both there to entertain and all the kids had a great time! I told Dalton about how Grandaddy Joe used to put signs on people's back without them knowing. Dalton thought that was so funny, he decided he was goign to get Granddaddy Joe back for doign that to other people. He snuck a "I eat Flies" sign on his butt and "I smell like Doo-Doo" on his back!!! And daddy never knew! I was about to cry laughing at daddy walking around the house with those signs on his back! Finially daddy found them and he started cracking up. Reminded him of his times at Darryl's!

Anyway, on with my story... I get on a tangit sometimes. We got back to the house and I decided I was going to give the boys a bath in our bathroom! I didn't realize that the entire bathroom would get soaking wet from them playing in the water coming out of the faucet! The paint on my new picture above the tub started dripping, there was water on the wall and all over my rug.... but they had fun and that was worth all the mess! We turned up the music and I danced and they laughed and splashed!

Then off to bed they went... whew, what a relief for me! A glass of Red Wine and now it is time for bed!
