School Christmas Show

Maci wasn't really excited about being there... but I told her she had to support her brothers!!

Sawyer spotted his mother with the ZOOOOM lenses, and he was so happy!

Here he saw his Grandaddy Joe and he was yelling that his Grandaddy Joe was there louder then everyone was singing!!! This was the ending of a song where they all were doing motions to the song and the end of the song was "the tree shines", and they were all smiling! I was really proud of Sawyer, he did so good!!!

Braxton did really good too! He didn't smile as much as Sawyer, BUT he jingled those bells away as good as you could ask a 2 year old to do!!! The best part of this picture was the little boy behind Braxton, he screamed the whole time!!!

I'm DONNNNE!

This is what you find when our son calls to you after he stinkies, "I'M DONNNNNNE."

How do you get 3 kids to sit still for Christmas Pictures...

YOU DON'T!!! Here are a few pictures I have taken over a period of 3 or 4 days... and I never really got ONE that I liked!!!

This one is about the best one, but it just so happened that Sawyer didn't have his Christmas PJ's on and they just happened to be in the same place for a few seconds!!!
Sweet Maci!!

Maci Crying, Braxton hitting Sawyer!

Maci Crying, Sawyer not wanting Braxton to touch him!

The boys happy, Maci SAD!

Isn't that funny how the boys are happy when they see their sister crying!!!

Had to sneak in the tunnel to get this one!

Sweet Braxton!!! Looks fairly decent after I edited out his boogers and snot that was all over his face!!!

Too bad I couldn't get Braxton in this one!

No Braxton again!

Funny!

She looks like the girl on "Little house on the praire"

Santa Claus... or Santa Clause

For everyone that received my Christmas Card this week... yes, you can spell Santa Clause with an "E". I looked it up!!! I figured even if I did spell it wrong then everyone would just think, that is just another misspelled word by Jodi because she never spells anything right, BUT I am correct this time!!! Spelling it with an "E" is not as common, but it is correct... whewww.

So anyway, we went to Meadow Lights last night. I have never even heard of Meadow Lights until our friends Carlos and Stephanie told us about it. It is only 2 dollars a person, so very reasonable and they take you for a short ride around their yard in a train to see the lights! The kids loved it and Scott and I didn't have to go to the mall to see Santa Claus"e". Maci woke up just in the nick of time to see old St. Nick even though you can barely see her face with her snow suit on, Sawyer LOVED Santa this year which was a big difference from last year where he screamed so loud that they had to shut the mall down because they thought something bad was happening to him, and Braxton, well he didn't scream, but he was really, really unsure of him as you can see in his face. We had to force him to sit near him just so we could get a picture! He kept cutting his eyes up to the jolly ole fellow to make sure he was not going to touch him. Come to think of it, it is kinda creepy that this old man that you can barely see his face is ALWAYS watching you!

Anyway, hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I don't see you before then!!! Enjoy our family photo with Santa.

Jesus's Birthday

I was explaining to Sawyer on the way to school today that Christmas is about Jesus and it is Jesus's birthay. I asked him, "Isn't it nice that Jesus is letting Santa Clause give you gifts for his birthday?"

Well, tonight I told him to tell Scott who's birthday was on Christmas.

Here is the conversation:
Me: Tell Daddy who's birthday it is on Christmas Sawyer.
Sawyer: Christmas is on Saturday (don't know where he got that from.). Mommy was Jesus in your belly?
Me: No, Sawyer, Jesus was not in my belly... remember Mary and Joseph, he was in Mary's belly.
Sawyer: Oh, when me and Braxton and Maci were in your belly, we made your belly grow TALL!
Me: That is right you made my belly TALL. (better than fat, huh?)
Sawyer: Mommy, I was scared in your belly.
Me: You were?
Sawyer: Yeah, I was scared and I got out! Braxton and Maci were scared too!
Me: Well, Sawyer can you tell Daddy who's birthday it is on Christmas?
Sawyer: Jesus's birthday is on Christmas. We need to get him some presents.
Me: What do you want to get him?
Sawyer: He wants a cake.
Me: What kind of cake do you want to get him?
Sawyer: He wants a Tow Mater cake!!! Can you make him a Tow Mater cake mommy?
Me: Well, maybe we can make Jesus some cookies for his birthday.
Sawyer: Actually mommy, he wants a Tow Mater cake.

So, hopefully he will forget about this Tow Mater cake and I can make Jesus some cookies, or I am going to have to get Grandma Patsy to make him a cake. This mommy can't even hardly make a cake in the regular pan!!!

If anyone knows anyone that is interested... or knows of how to get in touch with anyone that might be interested, PLEASE let me know. If not I am going to have to go online and go through a nanny service. I am desperate!!!
