The kids went to Walmart and picked out their own presents for Scott. First they wanted to get him a $20.00 Skidsteer in the toy department... I put my foot down on that. I kept asking, are you sure daddy would want that??? Yes, daddy wants that! So I told them we needed to look somewhere else, because I was not going to buy daddy a skidsteer that "they" wanted.
Then we went down the fishing aisle. More like it, $.99 cents fishing lure.... oh yeah, they were excited about that!!! So they both picked out 2 fishing lures that daddy will not ever be able to use, but they were excited about it. Then we went in the back to pick him out a movie... they picked out a cartoon movie at first, but I pointed out AVATAR, and they agreed to that one. They then went by some Corona, and said "DADDY JUICE".... so we purchased that as well. They picked out their own cards, wrote in them, put stickers on them.... put it in the bag at home... gave it to Scott.... and they also unpacked it out of the bag!!!! Scott was excited as you can see from the pictures!!! :-)
To Scott:
Better late then never!!! Happy Birthday Scott!!! I love how you are sweet to our kids and you teach them how to be independent. Me... well I hover, so it is good to have them learn that they don't need someone to look over them every second.
I love how you love me and make me feel beautiful, and you always let me know how good of a job I am doing as a mother (which is the best compliment of all). I love how you are proud of who you are and will never change. I love your morals and your patience. I love how you can be a business man then turn around and be the most caring and loving man.
I am so proud of you and your accomplishments. I am proud of the father you have become and I am so happy that we found each other. I respect you more then you will ever know!!!
Yes, things will never be perfect, and we will continue to fight over stupid stuff, but that makes life interesting!!! I will always love, care and respect you! Happy Late Birthday Scott!
Love Jodi
