I don't get a chance to blog much anymore, but I felt like I really needed to put some cute pictures up of the kids on Halloween. They are all sleeping at the moment, so I am using this time preciously!!!
I had all intentions of the boys going as Hunters, with their little camouflage overalls, hats and we bought them some play guns at Walmart this week. And little Maci was going to go as a duck... so we would have the hunters that are hunting a duck, just like their daddy. (Well, what he likes to do at least, he has had limited times he has been able to go this year because of him helping me with the kids... thank you so much Scott!!!).
Well, when Sawyer got up from his nap, he said he did not want to be a hunter. "Oh no", I thought,"what can he be now????"The only thing we have is the spider man costume (that "Santa" brought to him last year) and he has been terrified of mask and costumes forever! BUT, that is what he wanted to be AND he wanted to wear the mask! BIG DEAL for Sawyer. I couldn't believe it!
So then I felt bad for Braxton because he didn't get to choose what he wanted to be. I dug out some old costumes, and the only two that were close to his size was a COW and a Chicken. Well, he wanted to be a COW. Uh, ohhh, it is a size 12 month! So we had to cut the entire bottom half off and put some black pants on and he went as a "BABY BULL." So cute!
Then Scott and I decided we wanted to dress up too. I found my old cow girl hat and was a cowgirl. He got some old clothes and put some hay in his pocket and his shoes and was a scarecrow.
Maci was.... well a duck. She didn't have a choice! :-) But what a cute duck she was!
Here are some pictures of the night:
All dressed up... Scott the scarecrow, Sawyer the spiderman, Maci the duck, Jodi the cowgirl, Braxton the "baby bull", Grandaddy Joe... well, dressed up as Grandaddy Joe!
